VEOtool ("VEOtool," "we," "us," or "our") is a product operated by a US limited liability company. Our platform provides automated Google Ads signal integrity diagnostics and measurement health monitoring for advertisers and agencies.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Company name (optional)
• Account credentials managed via Clerk (our authentication provider)

2.2 Google Ads Data

When you connect your Google Ads account via OAuth, we access the following data solely to provide the VEOtool service:

• Campaign performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, spend)
• Conversion tracking configuration and event definitions
• Bidding strategy settings and smart bidding signals
• Audience and keyword data
• Account structure (campaigns, ad groups, ads)
• Attribution and measurement settings

We do not use Google Ads data to serve advertising, and we do not share or sell Google Ads data to any third party. Data retrieved from Google APIs is used exclusively to generate diagnostic reports and monitoring alerts within your VEOtool account.

2.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect standard log data when you use the platform, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the dashboard. This data is used for security, debugging, and service improvement.

2.4 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the VEOtool service
• Run automated diagnostics and generate signal health reports
• Send monitoring alerts and notifications about your connected accounts
• Respond to support requests
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not:

• Sell your data or Google Ads data to third parties
• Use your Google Ads data for any purpose other than providing VEOtool features
• Use your data to serve you advertising outside of VEOtool
• Allow humans to read your Google Ads data except when necessary to provide support at your explicit request, or for security and legal compliance

4. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

VEOtool's use of data obtained through Google APIs is limited to the following purposes, in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy:

• Providing or improving user-facing features — Google Ads data is used exclusively to generate diagnostic scores, issue flags, waste estimates, and monitoring alerts visible within your VEOtool dashboard.
• No data transfer to third parties — We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., our infrastructure provider), and only under confidentiality obligations.
• No use for advertising — We do not use Google data to serve advertisements.
• No unauthorized use — We do not use Google data for credit scoring, lending, insurance, or any purpose unrelated to the VEOtool service.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate VEOtool (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication, payment processing), bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of VEOtool and its users.
• Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Diagnosis reports and monitoring data are retained for up to 24 months to enable historical comparison features. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting veo@veotool.com.

Google Ads data fetched during a diagnosis run is stored only to generate and display your reports. Raw API response data is not retained beyond 90 days.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

8.1 All Users

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability: Request export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Revoke Google Access: You can disconnect your Google Ads account at any time from within VEOtool's Integrations settings, or by visiting your Google Account permissions page.

8.2 California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, disclose, or sell (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your rights, contact veo@veotool.com.

8.3 EEA / UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights listed above under applicable data protection law, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is contract performance (to provide the service you requested) and legitimate interests (service improvement and security).

9. Cookies

VEOtool uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for behavioral advertising. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to log in.

10. Children's Privacy

VEOtool is a professional B2B tool not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via email or an in-app notice for material changes. Continued use of VEOtool after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
